Michael Martin has over 36 years experience in the nuclear industry. He has worked extensively as a senior manager in activities associated with the Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Defense (DOD), and the commercial nuclear industry.

He has extensive line management experience at DOE and commercial nuclear facilities holding positions as DOE Nuclear Facility Training Manager, Facility Manager, Operations Engineer, Quality Manger, NQA-1 Lead Auditor, Team leader for Independent assessments, INPO Style Performance Based Evaluations with experience performing these evaluations at DOE and NRC regulated sites. Additional experience includes pre-operational testing, normal power generation, and restart from extended shutdowns while under regulatory scrutiny. Mr. Martin has thorough knowledge of DOE Order 425.1D, “Verification of Readiness to Start Up or Restart Nuclear Facilities” DOE Standard (STD) 3006-2010, “Planning and Conducting Readiness Reviews” and DOE Order 420.2B “Safety of Accelerator Facilities.”

Mr. Martin has nationwide experience building training and qualification programs that implement the requirements of DOE O 426.2, “Personnel Selection, Training, Qualification, and Certification Requirements for DOE Nuclear Facilities.
